Unmissable when in Paris: The perfect THAI experience!

There are two places I cannot miss going to when in Paris: the Ban Thai Spa in rue Dauphine in the 6ème and the Khao Thai restaurant across the street from it.
The spa is a luxurious hassle free jump into Thailand, only a few steps away from where I live and so exotic and relaxing. I have tried the traditional Thai massage and the foot reflexology massage during my travels around Thailand and they are just the same! I only tried those there too but they do have a long list of massages on their menu you can choose from. A team of graciousThai girls in black uniforms are there to greet you and make you comfortable. They look frail but don’t be fooled by that, they can twist you around, lift you and put fold you in the most amazing positions! Thai massage is often referred to as lazy man’s yoga… so be lazy and indulge in this reinvigorating practice!

Once out of there nothing better to dwell in the exotic experience while eating at the small and quaint Thai restaurant across the road: The Khao Thai. In a beautiful exotic decor with a contemporary twist just like the spa we had the Pad Thai with shrimps, ( stir-fried rice noodles with tamarind sauce ) the coconut milk chicken Tom Kha Kai soup, vegetable nems ( spring rolls ) beef peanut curry and for dessert we shared sweet sticky rice with coconut milk and mango… deliciously melting in our mouths. Unmissable when in Paris!!!
