Delicate Arch – Utah

September 9, 2012 § 2 Comments

Now getting here wasn’t easy, walking uphill in 40/43 degrees for about an hour almost killed my  un-excersised self. That said what we saw when we got to the top of path blew us completely away (all the breath that I just had managed to get back). Delicate arch is a must-go to! Its worth all the panting, I have never seen something quite like it.

Some facts: Delicate Arch is a 20 meters tall freestanding natural arch in Arches National Park, outside Moab in Utah. Its depicted on all Utah license plates and on their postage stamps.

Side note on Moab: there are plenty of other activities one can do, from rafting to off road driving.

When in Moad eat at the Baja Grill, the best mexican meal I have had in a while!
