Chronicles from Croatia: Korčula

Korčula my love..My personal favorite croatian Island.

Nestled between medieval walls on a elliptical shaped  protrusion, it brought seduced us with its beauty. Walking around it’s narrow streets that spread out from the main road one cannot fall in love with the iconic Venetian renaissance architecture. It’s old town is a little gem.

The most important building here was the Sveti Marko Cathedral which was undergoing some restorations. Built in a gothic Renaissance style in the 15 Century.  Here is the perfect place to walk around and get lost throughout the entwining tapering roads, but make sure to be on time at the port to watch one of the most amazing sunsets yet!
