A day in Mykonos!

Hello! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacations so far!
I am writing this post from a lovely sailing boat of a friends of Milly’s. When vacations kick in its not news that most blogs go quiet, and so has ours. I wanted to give a quick sum up of the past week. After being in Tangiers, I headed back to Greece to visit some friends that stay in Andros. By clicking on the following titles you can read our previous post about the place : ANDROS, Andros in Detail, Andros’s Lemons.
We spent a lovely week together relaxing, going to the beach and enjoying the greek tavernas. From there I was meant to take a plane from Athens back to Milan, before heading to Croatia, but decided to change my flight from Athens to one flying out from Mykonos as all of our group were heading down to the party island for a couple of days. I am so glad how easily one can change flights, and being all with Easyjet, having their iPhone app makes the whole process a lot more easier.
Mykonos is located 1 hour and half down south from Andros. We took the morning ferry that arrived around 12:30, quickly went to our hotels to change into our bikinis and headed to our favorite beach: Paranga. Where I got to eat my beloved muscles for one last time, I won’t be going back to island till next year so I am really happy I managed to get this one last stop :)
Sunset watching from the Porto Hotel Mykonos:
Dinner at UNO CON CARNE, the best steak house in all of the islands. We all ended up ordering the Chateaubriand steak!
The next day before flying back to Italy, I managed to do one last dip at Nammos beach and enjoyed a rather delicious plate of their sushi!
Since we came to Mykonos short notice most hotels were fully booked, luckily we did find the View hotel of Mykonos by the Semeli group to be available. My review in short of the place: very cute hotel with spartan and clean rooms a pretty breakfast area and pool, overall perfect for our one night stay.
