Favorite beaches and restaurants in Mykonos

The week in Mykonos flew by so fast that I am thinking of heading back towards the end of august, I could have stayed there for the whole summer, the energy is great, the beaches are pretty and the food is delicious!
I’ve summed up my favorite restaurants, which are a definete must go to, and I added a few that I know of from before and that friends have confirmed to still be fantastic. Having a chef at home, Milly was obviously more than happy to eat at home, and If Giovanni would have been a restaurant he would get my top marks! Haute Cuisine in Mykonos!
Favorite Beaches & Restaurants:
Kalua at Paranga Beach:
Paranga beach is my favorite nearby beach, meaning that from the centre of the town and from Agios Yannis where we were it was only 10 mins drive! The sea is lovely, the sunbeds are well organized, the service is impeccable and very helpful. And it houses one of my favorite restaurants which is Kalua! The food is fancy greek meets mediterranean, they have the largest selection of salads, truffled oil chips and delicious mussles a definete Must-Go to Place. The music does get loud during the afternoon so if your prone to sensitive ears make sure you get there early to get sea lounges by the sea!
Nammos and Nammos Beach:
The Ultimate Party Beach, here its a mix between South of France meets Greece. The beach its self isnt amazing as there isnt much beach left, everything is covered by sun beds, that sometimes are also inside the sea! You go here for the see and be seen atmosphere, that said the food is also great, so I did take Milly and all her friends here on our first day! We enjoyed a big 20 people lunch, with all sorts of mixed dishes and also some sushi (nammos is one of the few places on the islands that has a sushi-chef!) Milly loved the food but the overcrowding and super booming music at the restaurant put her off for good! I suggest this for a younger crowd in my age group, the party pics up around 5 pm and be prepared to be sprayed in champagne or what not!
Elia at Elia Beach:
This is by far the most amazing beach in the whole of Mykonos, but like everything pretty, its not at easy reach! Be prepared to travel for 25 mins from the centre and also get a little bit lost (greek roads do tend to look all the same)! But oh boy is it worth it! The sand is golden, the sea does not have one rock in it so its crystal blue! the vibe is chilled, no blaring music, just super comfortable beds, a friednly service and delicious freshly squeezed juices! If one wants you can also go water-skiing, banana-boating and whatever else water sports! :) And the restaurant is really good! Also here Mediterranean meets Greek, and has the biggest menu of the whole island! Honestly, it was almost like a book!
