Photographer: Diane Tufts

Im so glad I came across Diane Tuft’s photographs, abstract landscapes are one of my favorite subjects in photography, as its also one of my favorite things to capture. I really appreciate her work, and the thought that goes behind it, she basically photographs using infrared sensitive film, that once developed translates colors not visible to the naked eye, a study of a world we belong to but not always see. Her compositions are calming and soothing, especially thanks to the color tones achieved.

You can see her work at  the Marlborough Gallery in New York from March 20- April 21, 2012. Or for a quick spin click here to visit her website
