Photographer: Myoung Ho Lee – Tree series

February 15, 2012 § Leave a comment

We were shown this Myoung Ho Lee’s work yesterday in my visual identity class, and we were all pretty much in awe for the following photographs. The young South Korean photographer uses a very simple concept which is to select at tree, and place a big white canvas behind it to separate it from it’s surroundings, the effect is that it ends up looking like a painting/drawing. So inspiring, the thought is simple but the putting in action a bit more complexed ( you need a bit of hand setting up a big white canvas behind  a 3 meters tall tree right?)

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
