Things to do in Gstaad – Walk that walk

January 30, 2012 § 1 Comment

Lately I haven’t been very lucky with the weather, every time I arrive to Gstaad it goes from being super sunny to snow-storm. Which is great for the snow on the mountains, not so great visually speaking on the slopes. So when yesterday’s fog hit town, we decided that the only way to be actives was to go for a walk. My favorite place to do so in gstaad is the Gruben area, so gorgeous with its vast  space, pretty farms and hardly a car in sight. My friend Viera is a big walker so she led Chiara and I through the hills, great way to stay healthy and catch up at the same time with my girls. We ended up walking all the way to Schöneried the nearby town, and literally froze to death walking all the way back. Luckily Viera had a delicious lemon cake waiting for us at her chalet, and some green tea (I love). My legs are still hurting but the fun was worth it.

Have a good Monday!
