This is my Hotel Review of the Anantara Golden Triangle where we stayed for five nights
Located on the Hill Top overlooking the Mekong River, it offers the Idyllic scenery. Fantastic for those searching for quietness and relaxation, The Anantara was a true winner. Not many cans ay to have travelled to three different countries in a 5 hour period, but thank to the resort they organized this day trip for us through Laos and Myanmar, a great experience culturally and visually. And the plus side is their fantastic Elephant camp on the premises, which houses more than 30 of these wonderful creatures. I absolutely loved the experience and strongly recommend it to those searching for a unique experience.
Philosophy: “Perched up high on the lush hills of Thailand’s border overlooking Myanmar and Laos, Anantara Golden Triangle REsort and Spa offers the escape like no other. Experience the refreshing chill of a northern sunrise shrouded in mountain mist. The wonder of riding an Elephant through bamboo jungle, The rush of a long tail boat ride up the Mekong River”
Rating ✩✩✩✩ OF 5
5 PROS: Gorgeous Rooms – Modern without being to overbearing, Elephant camp on the premises, delicious thai restaurant and buffet, gorgeous pool, fantastic spa (their Anantara signature massage is dreamy)
1 CON: On some evenings it got really chilly and they didn’t seem to have a proper heating system for the rooms in the spa ( I got a cold while in bliss)
