Bangkok – The Grand Palace

Milly and I have just returned from a fantastic two week trip in Thailand. We ventured from Bangkok to Chiang-Rai, flew down to the Siam Gulf to Hua Hin to then return to the hectic capital and stop by the historic city of Ayutthaya. The whole trip was an absolute dream, as we shopped at the antique floating market (we were the only tourists on the premises), hugged and played around with the Elephants that lived on our Resort. Visited 2 different countries in a day: Myanmar and Laos (the perks of staying in the Golden Triangle), were pampered daily by the Spa’s at our hotels (I am now obsessed with thai-massage). And finally visited the temples of Ayutthaya, world heritage site, an authentic trip down the history of this beautiful country. We couldn’t have asked for more, we fell in love with the place, and are looking forward to booking a return trip in the near future.
